Don’t allow yourself to be ripped off by the inflated prices that the food outlets in The Star charge! The simple solution is to exit the building at the exit located at the corner of Union Street and Edward Street, cross the street and you will arrive at a small shopping centre at 60 Union Street.



You will see a Coles supermarket just inside on your left (also handy for cheap purchases). Proceed past the Coles into the shopping centre and keep walking to the far right-hand corner at the very end where you will find Jumbo Thai. You should see their board promoting their $12.90 all-day special on your way.



For the $12.90 you can have the chicken, beef or vegetable options. The prawn, pork belly or duck options will cost you a bit more.





The portion sizes are quite generous and the quality of the food is good and it tastes fresh and authentic.





There is plenty of seating to eat both inside the restaurant and just outside on communal-type tables. You can help yourself to the complimentary table water if you don't want to spend extra on a drink.
